The Rabbit Hole Designs Birthday Bash Celebration With MISTI

I'm so excited to be a part of The Rabbit Hole Designs Birthday Bash MISTI Collaboration! This birthday mini release is super cute and I had so much fun creating with it using my MISTI. The MISTI makes stamping a dream and you get such precision. Check out The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog (here) and the MISTI blog (here) for more inspiration.

I created several cards with this release ( I couldn't stop). The details are below the images

Je' taime stamp set stamped in Brutus Monroe Raven ink using my MISTI, Adorable bunnies colored with polychromos colored pencils, I die cut an oval from copy paper and sprayed it with pixie spray then placed it over the bunnies. I placed the Open Heart stencil over the masked base and blended CP Sweet Sixteen ink using a Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I swiped CP Queen For A Day ink on the edge of my card base and stamped the sentiment in the same ink. I finished it up with a piece of black and white twine  (it was actually a grey piece saved from a Jennifer McGuire gift and i colored the lines with a sharpie) which was aligned with my Cut A Line.

This is a one layer card. I stamped the Just Cake with Brutus Monroe Raven ink using my MISTI and colored it with Copics. I masked off the cake and ink blended the letters on the Spell It stencil to spell out happy birthday. I finished up with a sentiment from Sassy Birthday in Raven ink and added a few sequins

I had been playing with the gel press one day and created several backgrounds using Distress Oxides. I used one of them for this card. I arranged my stamps from the Je'tamie stamp set on my MISTI and stamped them using Brutus Monroe Raven ink. The bunnies and hearts are colored with Polychromos. I used the same colored pencils to draw and color my brick road.

Thanks to Covid the twine I ordered to add a bow never showed up so i got creative and used my Nuvo Vintage drops to create a bow with a little gold glitter Stickles in the middle. This was done on an old piece of sticker release paper then set aside to dry. ( I like this better than the twine)

It is hard to capture the sparkle on this one but it gorgeous in person. I used the fabulous Party Time stencil in my MISTI ( for alignment) and inked and rotated it three times blending in various colors using the Cotton Tail Brushes ( CP Samba, Limoncello and Aquatini) .
I rotated it one more time and used Therm O Web Transfer Gel Duo after it dried I heat foiled it using Rainbow Shattered Glass foil. This was die cut with a stitched rectangle. The focal point was die cut twice using a double stitched oval on which I stamped the Just Cake image in black ink and colored with Copics. I glued the two ovals on top of each other and mounted it in the middle
.
The Sassy Birthday sentiment is stamped in black on white cardstock with fishtail ends and mounted on a raised base with fishtail ends. I used my MISTI to stamp my images and my Cut A Line for trimming the sentiment and making perfect folds for my banner ends.

The background for this was another gel press pull. When I was doing these I had the gel press in my MISTI so I could turn it easily. The Just Cake and Sassy Birthday were stamped in black ink using the MISTI. I used Copics to color the cake. The lines round the outside edge of the card base were created using a sharpie and the My Sweet Petunia Cut A Line.

Last but not least is this vibrant birthday card. What better way to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRHD than making a fun filled card with their Party Time stencil rotated three times using the MISTI for alignment.

I used three inks ( Samba, Flirty Fuchsia and Tiki Torch) and the Cotton Tail Blending Brushes With this bold busy background you have to have a bold Happy Birthday and TRHD's Happy Birthday stamp fits the bill. The Sassy Birthday 2 sentiment is stamped in black on white cardstock using the MISTI then trimmed down using the Cut A Line.

I know it is a lot of cards but I just couldn't help myself. I still have a few other ideas floating in my head and hope to have time soon to fulfill them. Hop on over to The Rabbit Hole Designs to grab your mini release before they are gone.
